CSX Train Days at the
Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
January 17 - 18, 2009

January 15, 2009 – Jacksonville, FL – Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens announced that its annual CSX Train Days promotion will take place on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18, 2009.  For those two days the Zoo will only charge $1 per person for train rides, sponsored by CSX Corporation.  CSX employees will act as train conductors for part of the two-day period.

For over 90 years, the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens has been dedicated to inspiring the discovery and appreciation of wildlife through innovative experience in a caring environment. Starting in 1914 with an animal collection that consisted of one red deer fawn, the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens has grown to house more than 1,500 rare and exotic animals and over 1,000 unique plant species.
