Have you ever wanted to paint with a panther, sing with a snake, or waltz with a wallaby? Then you’ll want to join us for Winter Zoo Camp! We’ll have all the Zoo Camp activities you know and love, including meeting our education ambassador animals and chatting with zookeepers, but with an artistic flair. We will be partnering with some amazing outside organizations, including*:

  • Wild Child Kids Yoga
  • Musician Tom Cornwell
  • Musician Arvid Smith
  • The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens (
  • Nan Nkama Pan-African Drum and Dance Ensemble

We'll help you finish out your winter break in style!

Can't make it for all four days of camp? No problem! You can also sign up for individual sessions.

Please read our Zoo Camp Handbook and the following tips before you register!

  • Registration closes on Wednesday, December 25 at 11:59 PM or when all spots are filled. 
  • We are now a phone and electronics-free camp in order to allow our campers to fully engage in the camp experience. 
  • Please be patient with our website! We recommend using a desktop or laptop and using Chrome or Firefox. You may have to refresh several times.
  • When you register, even if you have an account on our website, you may have more success if you check out as a guest.
  • If you continue to have trouble, we will do our best to assist you by phone or email, but we may be experiencing high call volume. Again, we appreciate your patience. 
  • Please note the registration policies at the bottom of the page. 
  • After you complete your registration, make sure to print/save the order confirmation page that pops up! The dates you register may not be included in your automated email confirmation. 
  • If you are purchasing lunches, scroll to the bottom of the registration page and add the quantity for the number of days you are purchasing. For example, if you have two campers and you are purchasing lunches for both of them on Tuesday and Thursday, choose quantity four for lunches.

Date Change: A program date change must be made in writing by email or fax at least three weeks prior to the camp start date. Date changes will incur a $25 rescheduling fee per camper.
Cancellation: Cancellations must be received in writing by email or fax at least three weeks prior to the camp start date to qualify for a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations less than three weeks prior to the camp start date.
