Join the Zoo in Celebrating World Oceans Day on Saturday, June 9 // 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.


REDUCE. REUSE. RECYCLE. This World Oceans Day come to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens to celebrate conservation. Focused on reducing single-use plastics and keeping our waterways clean, this year’s event will be packed with education booths to share information on these vital topics. Of course, there will also be music, food, drinks, and games for the whole family to enjoy!

The event is FREE with regular Zoo admission.

- Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol

- Mickler's Landing Sea Turtle Patrol

- The Sea Turtle Hospital at Whitney Lab

- JZG Manatee Critical Care Center/Marine Mammal Response Team

- FWC truck and boat with mock manatee rescues
- Flamingo Lake
- AquaJax

- Timucuan Paddleboard Race

Ocean-themed Keeper Chats:
- Penguin - 10:40 am & 12:30 pm

- Stingray Bay chats - 10:30 am & 1 pm

- Manatee Critical Care Center chats - 12 pm & 1 pm
