Formal education programs at the PepsiCo Foundation Education Campus may be scheduled Monday through Friday, September through May at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. Programs are available for Pre-K through 12th grade and have been developed in conjunction with the Next Generation Sunshine State and the Common Core Standards. Our presentations focus on a grade-level appropriate subjects and may include up-close and hands-on animal encounters.

When scheduling a program at the Zoo please keep the following in mind:

Programs must be booked at least four weeks in advanced.

Please be sure that the date that you choose coordinates with your school calendar and bus calendar, as well as other teachers involved.

Payment of program locks in your reservation. Program payment is due in full four weeks prior to your scheduled visit.  If you book less than four weeks in advance, a credit card number is required to reserve your time slot.  If you do not bring full payment on the date of your visit, your credit card will be charged.

Program Fees:

September 1 - January 31 $3.00 per person
February 1 - May 31 $4.00 per person
*Note: Expedition Explore and Amazing Aquatics (90 mins) - $7 per person year round
Admission to the Zoo is NOT included in your program fee.

Minimum of 15 students. Groups are required to have 1 adult per every 10 students. Extra adults will be charged the $3.00/$4.00/$7.00 per person fee above the group chaperone requirements. (i.e 57 students and 12 adults – 5 Free adults, the 7 extra adults will be charged).

Program fee includes a 30-90 minute program and activity packet. Program activity packets are e-mailed in advance of the program and include vocabulary lists, recommended reading lists, as well as suggested activities.

Date Change: A program date change must be made in writing by email or fax. Date changes will incur a $25 rescheduling fee.

Cancellation:  Cancellations must be received in writing by email or fax at least two weeks prior to the program date to qualify for a 50% refund.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations within two weeks of the program date.

No refunds will be issued for no shows or late arrivals.   We do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but reserve the right to cancel or adjust program length depending on staff and classroom availability.  If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled time, your program will automatically be cancelled with no refund.
